The interviewer was either asking Cerny to predict the future, or asking about the PS4's launch and in what ways are the new features being used, when the system is not even out yet! Really, for such a big website you guys really need to work on your interviewing skills.

I hate when people say that PS4 is a tiny upgrade from PS3, no its not as much as a change as PS2 to PS3, because that was changing to HD, but there is not really going to be different to PS4 as no one really has 4K, and that will probably be a main focus for PS5, but the PS4 is a huge change, theres a significantly faster CPU, 8GB of GDDR5 RAM, which is a huge upgrade from the 512mb, and even PC's don't even have GDDR5 except for GPUs, and GDDR5 is over 2x as fast as GDDR3, the controller is different in almost every single way, new shape, feel, touch pad, light bar, triggers, thumb stick ect, and theres loads of changes in the actual system like party chat, and sharing abilities, and the games look amazing on PS4, they may not look amazing on youtube, but live on an actual screen, you can see a huge difference (I used the PS4 at the gadget show live) i could go on for ages, hopefully this proves something to people lol

MGdawg Next gen is barely an improvement from current (its an improvement noticeable improvement but not as big ). The leap to next gen is not going to be as big as the PS2 for PS3. All we are going to get next gen is better lighting particle better particle effects slightly better polygons/ more enemies on screen and more games are going to be 1080p 60fps. All so next gen consoles will also be using GPGPU. Most of the stuff I named the Wii U done or has yet to show because all the Wii U has been getting is third party current gen ports.

me too, but i was with amazon - 1 of the biggest retailers in the world - i cancelled my order and ordered with Zavvi.com yesterday and was given a release date of the 29th november (UK) which is awesome - i ordered the 22nd august with amazon and STILL hadn't been given a delivery date up until i cancelled yesterday

People arguing about which console is better, which makes me kinda wonder after much review of both consoles, why you people argue which console is better? On a technological stand point, both consoles are pretty much the same! The only true difference is probably the company owning the console, and the controllers! As an Xbox 360 user for 5+ years, I'm switching to Ps4, not because of any price or what Sony has done, but because I want to experience something new like console exclusives and online capabilities. Trust me, the xbox one looks great too!

its called pacing...they have more consoles available than they are allowing for pre order so that when the holiday season comes around they will have enough to meet demand, launch consoles will be limited so that there will be more when the demand is higher
