As an actual threat, the Calypso twins were great, a pair of Sirens using their powers for evil. That's pretty great. They just.. had the most obnoxious personalities and the amount of times they contacted the player made them so grating. Jack at least had the charisma to not make his constant taunting annoying. But total honesty, I don't even care about the villains, as long as the characters are fun to play and the gun play is good, then that's enough for me, I can just ignore the story if it's trash.

Athena design is actually 10/10 cant say much. then we get to borderlands 3 moze looks generic but shes got the soilder look with the helmet and the outfit. fl4k is probably the coolest looking character in all the borderlands games. amara is kind of generic but you add tattoos like the siren ones and she looks great and then we get to zane and he looks great too they dont look generic. we get to this game and we see 4 characters that look like in this order from left to right vaughn/troy if they had a kid Ava but more asian in some way brick or eista the invincible for dlc in bl3 with cyberware just looks like an npc from maliwans area. just really generic looking and it sucks.

BL4 vault hunters have the same vibe/design language compare them to Borderlands 3 for example, characters are very distinguishable and have their own individuality. yeah was kinda hoping for an evolution of the art style for this one. not a wholesale change but something to make it stand apart more. 4 looks like more of the same as Borderlands 3 but with higher fidelity. Also trailer implies that the vault hunters will be caught in the middle of some type of war/conflict. However it better not be another case as - you show up and see everyone fighting each other but no actual harm being done. Then as soon as your noticed the two groups who were at each others throats put their differences aside and join forces against you.
