Just because an older MMO is successful does not mean a newer one will be, especially one focused around a film. It's just another cash grab due to how well the most recent piece of media did, will be dead within a week or will be completely P2W like every other attempt at the MMO genre has been for the past half a decade now.

If this is anything like the SWTOR MMO, with all its different classes, alignments, and vastly different storylines we may have something truly interesting on our hands. Imagine having campaigns based around the Bene Gesserit, The Fremen, The Mercenaries, The Atreides, and the Harkonnens. Given, while SWTOR has only two alignments and 4 classes per alignments (for a total of 8 unique stories) each dune faction could have a preferred playstyle. The Bene Gesserit, Political Wisdom and Intrigue Magic. The Fremen, economically dominating tactics of guerilla ambush. The Mercenaries, a faction that employs itself out to other factions thus picking it's own sides in the story. The Atreides, playing tower defense with great ranged and artillery troops but weak infantry. Finally the Harkonnens, with devastating shock troops that can by reasonably (1:5?) supplemented with legendary Saurdukar. And that's only considering the recent Dune movie, not even the rest of the book.
