So the story mode has no world you fly in? Just cutscene, battle, cutscene, battle? Lame. Their earlier games allowed me to fly over a map which gave me some sense of control and gave me a chance to look for dragon balls as well which to me was fun and since that was so outdated the map was pretty small. Was hoping with a new game in 2024 that we had a map and it was bigger, so there was some exploration. Game has plenty of cutscenes and battles, story mode should be a little more interesting.

In fairness, you kinda got that in Kakarot and the games that did have what you say were exceptionally barebones. BT2s was worse than B3s but both were cute features as really opposed to a meaningful aspect of the game. After 5 hours you're just flying from point to point in those games and SP:Z is leaning much more heavily into being all about the fights, whereas Kakarot's was to put you more in the world of DB.

They are not pre order bonuses, the pre order thing just gives you the dragon balls immediately to call Shenron. The wishes are used to unlock characters, zeni, items, etc
