"Lets really freak out people (...) Full blown social madness" They made a very scary demo, and tell tales of how it could have been the most horrifying game ever. And now it is canceled. This sure created some (social) madness. Every other week we have a video on IGN/ Machinima or The Know (Roosterteeth), and probably many other channels, about Silent Hills or Kojima, and it feels like it never stops. Kojima works in strange ways, and I almost see this as another one of his tricks. If they (Guillermo and Kojima) ever release a horror game, they already have one of the best video game marketing strategies ever.

Money talks. If Konami saw enough dollar signs in it, they would more than likely allow the Silent Hills to be made regardless of what they have said in the past. They could put both Kojima-San and Del Toro together again at the helm, possibly with help from a Kickstarter goal if they were concerned about putting too much money into the project. The real question is would either of them want to bother working with Konami again after the shit they have been through. I doubt it. Such a shame, P.T. would of been another masterpiece. At least we can look forward to Allison Road.

What do you know? Your not a dev working on the game. How would you know? It may not live up to what silent hills would have been but we may not see another silent hill for a long time.
