“This particular song is not related to any pandemic or real illness. Rather, it is an ode to Sofia's admiration for the sea, inspired by her frequent voyages by various types of vessels, from small boats to huge luxury liners. Sofia found the mechanics of these boats, the crew's workings, and the sheer beauty of the waters to be captivating. The song's lyrics speak from both Sofia's perspective and my own, as I too share a profound affection for the sea that I liken to an "incurable disease." In fact, I'm even in the process of creating a sea-themed tattoo sleeve on my right arm to showcase my devotion to all things maritime.”

This album is already my favorite. Especially "Incurable Disease" I connect with on a deep level, longing to travel and preferring uncertainty to the sham of "certainty." Over grounding, I would choose the sea. Condemned to be sailing. As long as I breathe, I'll prefer the sea. The song brings tears. Thank you Ignea for your influence in my life!

It must be a temptation, when a band has a gorgeous talented lead singer, to hide behind her voice and looks. This song avoids that with some damn fine instrumentation to craft a compelling song even before the vocals truly kick in. That is a complete band.

I just finished watching the premiere of music video. The song is great, and so are the lyrics. This song is amazing! It's the first I've heard from Ignea, as I just happened to catch the premiere live stream, and I was captivated by its haunting sound and catchy hooks. I've since listened to the whole album on repeat several times. Intrigued by its diverse sounds, I dug into the lyrics and backstory, and learned about the story of Sofia Yablonska. It's an awesome concept, and the execution by Ignea is top notch!

I'm seriously getting into this band - in every tune you seem to get so much bang for your buck - and they blend different metal subgenres in a way that makes them hard to tag - I'd call it "Symphonic Metal Xtra". This fine tune is a typical example. The winning formula in it includes excellent production, the growl/clean vocal "duet", a sweet rolling melody that sits over the top and great keyboard and guitar riffs. A delight. The only problem I have with it is which playlist to put it in. My Score: Very Good 4*
