Came here for a base idea on ignite scaling. Since this video blowback has been nerfed to 8% faster but still works really well. To anyone looking at this now, go for hunter and warlord influence scepter to dual wield with ignites deal damage faster and % burning damage, hunter and warlord influenced gloves, boots and belt to truly scale your ignite damage through the roof with your triple cluster set up

I had this problem too. I tried everything with my 8 yr old gaming system. After committing to several upgrades I was going o make I just decided to go with a totally new build. It's not complicated especially these day with all the internet help you can get and remember you are building that system that will last you another 8 years of ever growing, resource hungry gaming. Buy a Solid State hard drive. You do not need to store all or even most of your data on it. Put your operating system and games and then buy a larger capacity drive for all your pics, music, vids, etc. A 4tb 7200rpm+ HDD is like $100. Probably $100 for a 1TB SSD. The Rysen 5 CPUs are solid gaming chips and some decent 16x2 memory chips not too bad. Video cards are pricy but you can get a decent AMD card for less than $250. It's a serious investment buuut there are plenty of customization options to fit any budget. DO NOT buy a pre-build system. Even if they give you all the bells and whistles they usually include bloatware that will eventually eat performance. Check on components that people were buying top dollar last year that are still relevant in your new build. Electronics lose value over time so see what you can live with for now and go from there on future upgrades and performance boosts. I NEVER crash anymore and I run at the highest settings possible. I did about a week at an hour a day of research and built a system that most gamers are jealous of based on my price vs performance ratio.

Great build and great guide. I'm playing an ignite chieftain, but with Discharge at the moment and leveled with a spellslinger setup with fireball and flame wall. Really powerful and fantastic, unexpectedly smooth leveling (considering you're playing a marauder ;) )

I'm not sure this is your line of preference but i noticed that there is one thing that is still not calculated at all in this game. The ''1% reduced mana reserved'' from the corruption on jewels is NOT working in any form or manner. Can you make some noise about this ?

21:39 15% faster ignite damage is not more than a 15% more multiplier. It is exactly the same as 15% more multiplier. I think you are probably confusing 15% faster with 15% reduced duration, which are not the same. 100% faster ignite means the ignite goes twice as fast, and it lasts half as long. Doing the same damage in half the time. Hence doing double the damage per second. This is the would be the same as 50% reduced duration, which is obviously half the duration. If for some reason you don't believe me, then believe Mark_GGG: "So if you have modifiers totalling 100% faster damage from ignites, then your ignites will effectively have double the damage for half the duration."

I played a fireball elementalist this league and it's doing alot alot alot better damagewise. Like those conquerer fights took ages in the videos. Also with CI and 15k ES it's alot more tanky I guess. Since dense fossils are very cheap (1c) and even the clarity watcher's eyes aren't too expensive you reach 13-15k ES easy.

@Ikxius for the specific build i did with it, yes. i went agnostic defensively. trickster gets decent damage boost, good mana boost, but more importantly the incredible sustain of recovery on kill and inc recovery rate essentially i ran with fireball ignite, flamewall to augment, archmage/stormfire for bigger ignite and mana stack for defense with agnostic and offence with archmage. used kitava's thirst to auto cast things like storm brand, curse, wave of convic+combustion. worked so very well. great league starter

Was gonna run a fireball trickster as starter (im late to this league) whats the damage comparison between chieftan and trickster... the PoB trees confuse me as tricksters has a lot of + elemtal / fire damage. But you mention that doesnt scale ignite... idrc about being tanky so just wondering what class youd rank higher in dps

trickster is most likely faster with more damage but a lot less tanky, didnt do the math though

@@karmoth6666 I haven't gotten far in map's. Cleared lvl 11 map easy, defeated atziri and uber lab quickly. The build isn't quite as fast as essence drain but it's damage is pretty good. I'm at the point where improvements will be expensive and there is only a week left so I probably won't be pushing it too hard.

Ignite beeftain is what I'm trying to play in SSF myself, tho I'm trying to make MoM + Agnostic work for general survivability. Do you think that's viable or am I spreading too think, because atm I'm squishy, dealing no damage and always oom ? :/

Youd need to stack mana go ignite fireball with archmage using stormfire but gl getting that on ssf its fairly rare. Should prolly just ho hybrid and go mom+eb much easier

Played ignite fireball chieftain in the past and ignite discharge chieftain right now. Sceptre + Shield I can fit in glancing blows decently, I wouldnt recommend also trying to fit in MoM. Too many eggs in one basket, imho.

I've had intermittent disconnection issues many years ago due to the ethernet chip (Realtek) on my motherboard not liking the switch hardware in the basement my ISP was running, I got around it by sticking a router between my computer and the ISP hardware. The way my disconnects would show up was also not predictable in any way except that once I finally got them they would happen for about 10 seconds hourly 2-4 times in a row when the DHCP server renewed the IP lease, other than that I could have a week or more without issues and activities besides gaming would not suffer from them at all since nothing else I was doing was that sensitive to interrupted connections. TLDR: Try a router (or a different one) between your computer and the wall socket.

If you go one hand with shield, you want a sceptre, not a wand. The elemental damage implicit is great. Also, consider a hunter scepter so you can get faster ignites.
