Igniting the Spark of Polarity in Relationships

We all know opposites attract. But why is that? Watch this video to learn more about polarity: the reason we feel a spark with certain energies.
We have intense physical chemistry with those who have an opposite energy to our own. Whether masculine or feminine, this energy is not gender-based. Every man and woman has varying degrees of both masculine and feminine energy - but one is a natural dominant force inside you.
What makes a relationship work is things in common; what makes a relationship passionate is things being different. If you have different values, the relationship won’t work. But if you have different energies, that’s where the electricity comes from. In any relationship where there is sexual attraction and deep intimate connection, you’ll find the power of opposite energies at play.
Plenty of people have things in common - they’re called friends. If you’re both masculine or both feminine, there won’t be any sensuality. There won’t be the sexual “spark” that is one of the three keys to real passion. This lack of passion can also happen to couples who once had the spark, but let it fade.
Depolarization happens to many long-term relationships. Life takes over. There are bills to pay and kids to raise. You’re both tired. You’re both stressed out. Instead of embracing your partner’s natural energy, you may begin to find them needy - even annoying. So you put on a mask, taking on the opposing energy in order to place a barrier between yourself and your stressors in life.
Before you throw your hands up and say “I’m done” - or worse, accept the depolarization because it becomes comfortable - know that you CAN get that spark back in your relationship. You can learn how to embrace your true energy and the energy of your partner.
Feminine energies are driven by emotion. They seek connection and want to give and receive love. At their best, they live in a state of appreciation and grace. But when their energy is not nurtured, they close off emotionally and sexually. How can you nurture your feminine partner? Feminine energies need to feel seen. They need to feel safe. And they need to feel understood.
Masculine energies are driven by goals. They need to have a purpose, a direction in which to direct their focus. This incredible focus is their biggest power, allowing them to be decisive and overcome any challenge. But it can also make them seem distant. To nurture a masculine energy, let go of criticism and expectations and replace them with appreciation.
Ready to harness the power of polarity and create a deeper connection with your partner? Attend the next Date With Destiny event.
Date With Destiny is a six-day seminar designed to help participants live out their ultimate purpose by gaining absolute clarity on what matters most in their lives. Designed by the world’s #1 authority on personal growth - Tony Robbins - this event shows people what drives every behavior, thought, decision and emotion they experience. Participants will discover their true purpose, improve every relationship in their lives and design the life of their dreams as they fully reshape their destinies.
Date With Destiny is unlike ANY other event on the planet - it's Tony's favorite event because of the depth of transformation that occurs. During this intensive program, participants will eradicate destructive subconscious behaviors, create personal vision statements and use Tony’s proprietary 9 Elements of Impact System to get an overview of everything that influences the world they live in. "We can improve our relationships with others by leaps and bounds if we become encouragers instead of critics."-Joyce Meyer
@Alphacentauri819

That’s true…but we have to heal our core wounds/attachment trauma to be able to consistently do that. While a nice quote is fine, it’s only speaking to the tip of the iceberg. It’s not easy for many people to be encouragers…especially when they are hurt. Criticism is a need wrapped in a prickly package. It is “safer” to criticize than to vulnerably ask for something else, or encourage. When we treat the wounding (unmet needs that originated in childhood), we are then able to become the encourager much easier.

I hope you reply why does he stay feeling seen, safe works. I can recall a woman who was very low on my priorities maybe 20th. I would treat her almost like an ignorance (blocking her calls and text for days). And she remain obsessed and passionate. But when I made a women high priority she doesn’t even want to have sex at all, but will not allow me to leave the relationship. You seem insightful. What is going on?

@@elarrayhesohit4479 Good question (now a year later). In terms of yin/yang, one of the woman/yin characteristics is void, or dark, or empty. When those are filled (light or filled) it removes the previous motivation or energy. Men's attention is one example of filling that void.
@Alphacentauri819

@@elarrayhesohit4479 attachment theory. Look into that and the triggers of each attachment style. Anxious preoccupied sounds like the first one…they totally give up selves for other, in hopes for connection. The second one…it sounds like you showed up with ulterior motives, when you said she wouldn’t have sex at all. You have to be connected, healed, the best version of YOU, to attract someone else at that level. If we attract others with attachment trauma, it is often mirroring our own internal core wounds…we have to focus on healing ourselves, before we can ever have a healthy, connected, authentic relationship.

Thanks, I want to do that to a man but so far he does nothing apart from replying to me. He was my lecturer though and wouldnt really listen to me in class but I like him and I feel he wants to be heard and I d hear him. He d glance at me sometimes and smile etc. Anyway now the course is finished and I asked him out , he agreed to meet at the university but I couldnt do it on the day he proposed and had to follow up and he agreed and propose next week but no date. My point is that what if he wont fulfil my needs ? I feel we have interests in common and both around the same age (im 38) and the non verbal communication is great but if I cant talk to him . I dont know. lol for example he wont say im doing great etc but he d look at me when he talks about something I like in class. He never asked me or tell me what I do is great but he knows what I like through the assignments and I believe he liked what I did . I have the impression he would not congratulate me if I tell him about stuff in my life unless it is of an interest to him (but we have similar interests though but not all ) I fancy him and Id like to see his face but yeah I have to go to him and most women disagree with that . It is only men who tell me 'yeah do it and why should the men pursue women and declare their love?' etc

Tony...so amazing, because I've been reading older (pre-1950s, before the RELIGION of "political correctness" hit our world) historical books, and what's interesting is that in the 1650s thru to the 20th century, to be called/referred to a "woman" was considered referring to a female of "low decree." To esteem any woman back then, you would call them "female" either directly or indirectly. Don't know if Tony has studied this or just came to his own conclusions, the difference between "woman" and "female" the way our ancestors originally did.

One day Tony Robbins will do some of David Deida's intensives like when Oprah did his training. When he does he'll discover a much deeper way to communicate what he only understands intellectually. The frustration and anger in his energy is something he has never dealt with because he's never allowed a deeper man to really penetrate him. Deida wouldn't just penetrate him, he would lovingly destroy him...the emphasis being love not destroy...he would do to Tony what Tony does to others...and it would unravel that knot that Tony has fearfully held in place for 26 years. Don't get me wrong I love what Tony has done for people. But Tony isn't in any way enlightened. Deida? Close or much much closer! Keep in mind Tony never talked about masculine and feminine until David Deida came out with it. He copied it, but it's mental. You want to see presence vs effortful force. Just watch how Deida does it live on videos. Everything Tony uses has been borrowed. It doesn't mean it doesn't work, but his sledgehammer method of shoving it down people's throat (when he does that) is the difference between knowledge and Realization.
@CptMoench
@CptMoench 7 жыл бұрын
I also think that Tony learned about the Masculine-Feminine model from Deida!!! But have you ever been to a Tony event in person? I promise you it is not just mental. His style may look different than Deida's (who I have only read but not experienced live) but I promise you that Tony's loving, penetrating, masculine presence combined with his ability to purposefully animate his feminine when needed is unbelievably powerful. He can speak both languages fluently. This is not his main focus but I think it's incredible that he includes it as well as introductory spiritual components in his conferences. I have been a participant at several Tony conferences and this was where I DISCOVERED and learned to embrace my feminine essence. I was so anchored into my masculine energy that I didn't even know I HAD a feminine soul. There are thousands and thousands of people who have embraced their natural sexual essences because of this introductory work. So while he may not play at the level Deida does in this one aspect of identity transformation, I don't think he has to. What he's doing is powerful, beneficial, and has a scope that is much broader than what anyone else is doing. PLUS! People like me get really curious about this stuff at the conference, come back to our lives hungry to learn more, and we discover Deida!!!! We get to have both!
@RonjaSebastian
@RonjaSebastian 7 жыл бұрын
Absolutely love David Deida. Tony's speech made me think of him as well. And of course Deida's work and understanding + mastery of the Masculine-Feminine dynamics go waaay deeper, but still great that Tony brings it to his audience as well. Btw, if you ever get the chance to work with David in person - do it. He's a genius.

That's weird... coz I'm normally a masculine sort of woman and when I'm stressed I get very feminine (as in, needy, fearful, hyper, pushy...) Maybe my idea of masculine and feminine is different? I guess I see Tony's point in this though. I guess pushiness is a masculine trait and I lose all my empathy and compassion when I'm stressed in a relationship, I start looking out for number 1 and getting paranoid. I think I'm currently confused as to how best use my feminine energy in a relationship. I think I toggle though between the feminine and masculine in a relationship; as soon as the other person switches to acting distant/masculine/focused solely on other things rather than me, my feminine side wakes up and I start to go crazy. Other times I am very chilled out and grounded. I have tunnel vision almost, like a man does, I get overwhelmed when there is more than a couple things to focus on, and I only pick up on what's directly in front of me. I still get things done though, and if people in a relationship with me don't communicate with me exactly what's going on I start to visualise something is wrong when really they are the sort of person who's mind is totally taken over by other things. So on the one hand I am attentive and noticing everything going on, but on the other I have to get straight to the point and quickly so I block out everything else around me. It's weird.

A word for women "So women assume that men just aren't paying attention to them when men are doing what their brain does - Single focus power." - Tony Robbins This is why sometimes we think that men are clueless/unaware of what we're feeling or how to respond sometimes. Women tend to be aware of different things/emotions at one time. Just a natural tendency and a difference in how the two genders' brains work.

Some interesting thoughts exploring attraction and relationships feminine and masculine. I don't think women become masculine when they get angry they just are less attractive because they are displaying a negative destructive emotion. Anger is a negative destructive emotion neither feminine or masculine. A man is not feminine if he displays kindness he becomes generally more attractive to everyone because he is displaying a positive constructive emotion. Passion in a relationship is on many different levels if it's sexual then it is more about physical attractiveness that has to be present it is not about opposites but what is deemed physically attractive for either sex. However at some level there is a need to create a balance. A taller women might seek out a smaller man in the hope to have a child with a more balanced/normal height. As with multi tasking and single focus less to do with feminine or masculine more to do with individual character traits. The world in many parts has been dominated my men and in many ways has subjugated the races or opposite sex for negative destructive reasons. The western world has largely adopted a more tolerant acceptance of cultures religions and women. Women from less oppressed countries generally appear more masculine but this is only because they are allowed to express themselves to show more individual personality. hence we have women in the army/teaching/police etc.

I hear a cycle. If he's drained and without passion then he causes stress making her respond masculine killing the vibe more. especially if he defends offensively with name calling🤦‍♂️. After while he may stop looking at whats not there and begin to look elsewhere. The stress removes her safety net and feeling of being understood. Things dont flow. Things are done with expectations, peace is further removed due to more anxiety and dead energy. Everything is now about duty, obligations and ppl become less like partners/friends and more like liabilities and responsibilities to the one another. Its simple, fuck him! make/give love to your man so he doesn't always have to bring it to you. Kiss him, hug him. Cuddle under him. Thats how he'll feel appreciated. Fuck yo dinner and clean clothes. He'd rather eat 🐈anyway. If he's a good man, He wants to make you happy. He will slay dragons for you but on E. Not when you make him feel unwanted, like a trick or like YOUR DADDY(protector/provider only!) Ppl just selfish and stupid. Its supposed to be just you and him. Everything else is secondary.
