Some times some people get 'an ugly on' at you for no logical or known reason. Presently this is flowering after the election and has long been called ' Trump derangement syndrome'. I have sadly experienced this from my only sibling. My older sister. Hated me. Did all she could to cause me mental anguish. A couple others in life were also of this nature. Your recount reminded me of an editor who was supposed to be helping me prepare a publication. She was trying to stab me in the back constantly. I just tried to ignore and get on with my work. One day my boss took me asside to advise I stay away from her since she was dying of cancer. She passed soon after. I wonder whether my new presence and abilities triggered her in some way. Maybe she knew of her sickness and hated a new flower in her garden where she was dying. Guess what I am saying is don't let the experience impede you. Grow from it knowing people are around us that are victims of this syndrome. No fault of our own and no cause for nor need for understanding it or healing from the experience. Pointless exercise imho.
