They know this perfectly well. They aren't stupid. They are trying to control what Western and Japanese media companies do inside their borders. They also specifically want to eliminate the use of lenses like telephoto and wide-angle lenses, cameras that can use infrared film, etc. Both journalists and spies are more likely to use those technologies than tourists and a mere KZbinr. As for tourists and KZbinrs, they know they can control what they see, photograph and record simply by restricting their movement and giving them guides.
I can't wait to see more videos! Your editing is getting better and better! Keep up!

That broken bridge reminds me of a very similar bridge (at Dรถmitz) that used to connect West and East Germany and was bombed during WW2. They left the ruins and only after reunification a new bridge was built. The old one is still there
9:32 when the guy walking his horse waves to the train. That just broke my heart. Because looking at the way he lives and walking his horse down the road, my instinctual answer says he probably canโt afford to leave or have a job that will offer him to ever leave. So seeing that he waved at the people passing by who do get to travel made me kind of sad. I am so fascinated by North Korea and could watch short films about them all day honestly. Well done.

and the fact that N korea = zero human rights ... Re Education Caps = Death Camps !! but hey he's made a little film about how "interesting" N Korea is !! Also this is probably propaganda, don't forget there are a few youtubers who make videos about "everyday" life, but this is a dictatorship with zero freedom so beware of what it purports to show !!

I watched the whole series a few years ago and I still recall it as THE best content available on North Korea. Finally came across this again. Thank you for the great work
Thank you for watching. Hopefully I understand your Korean well this time! But I really hope you can visit North Korea in your life at least one time. Does your family come from a certain place in the north? Maybe by the time South Korean can go to the north, there is no one alive with relatives on both sides :(. The second episode will be about Pyongyang and Nampo, I will show few of the landmarks and first impressions of the cities. ๊ธฐ๋ํ์ธ์!! ๊ณ ๋ง์์! ๐๐

Pretty easy to leave as a tourist. I looked into it a few years ago as I was interested in going and it is pretty simple. You just need to be approved and not be on their list of prohibited countries and professions. Only people that have had trouble leaving broke laws while in there like the idiot trying to steal propaganda pictures from his hotel.

There are multiple good vids out there but best is to go there and see everything that they are not allowed to film or make pictures.. There are some travel agencies dutch and international that organize North korea trips.

"Everyone" .... meaning your perception based on your newsfeeds. "Everyone" reads they are starving but... they seem to stay alive and their population increases . There is only One Korea... and they are 'on the road to reunification'.... what was done to Korea will stand as the SECOND greatest "crime against humanity" in world history. The very worst 'crime against humanity ever???? The British-forced sale of opium in China and resulting mass addiction of the Chinese people. USA actively participated in the opium trade (Astor family for example but there were lots of them). One view of history suggests that China set events in motion then that led to USA forces obliterating the traditional governments of Japan, Korea, and Vietnam while over-extending its military worldwide. Then we shipped our most advanced industrial and military technology to Taiwan.... which goes straight to mainland China via Taiwan's military. Then China took our manufacturing away at the most granular level... for example, 65% of our apple juice concentrate comes from China. They fill empty shipping containers with the west coast apple crop. Oh crap, I went on and on... sorry.
