Hi Nat, Bearded Dragons are not native to Thailand, so this one must have escaped from somewhere and is probably worth quite a bit. However, it is not unusual to see large monitor lizards crossing the road herein Isaan. The barbecue looked great and the food you prepared looked amazing. The variegated corn seems to be coming more popular now in Thailand but I don't think that the taste is quite as good as the yellow or white that you can get at the roadside. Nice to see you all enjoying the fruit of your labours. God bless you all 😀🙏❤

Love, love, love the water dragon ❣Good job on the bbq, it looked delicious, anything cooked on an open bbq tastes better, that smoky taste is beautiful. Some dried fine breadcrumbs and an egg in the mixture will hold the meat together, though yours did really well

Beautiful Iguana, I like how it camouflages into the grass, watches you and stays still, we also have big lizards in Australia, I edited this because I thought Australia had the same type, thanks to Gabe for teaching me other wise 🫶🏼👍👏 Ooh bbq food looks great, no doubt delicious 👏 Do you think the bbq was around the side of the house because there’s more shade there, c’mon Natt up there for thinking, down there for dancing 🤭😉, oops forgot, you didn’t get your hair cut😂😅 that’s my excuse. It was so interesting to see, definitely wasn't expecting it on the side of the road 😅 Haha I think it was down the side because it's undercover and out the way, protected from the elements 😅 but yeah it was definitely shady there that time of the day, I should've left it 😅 We all really enjoyed the bbq though, reminded us of summertime in the UK, western style food 😅 Thank you Victoria 😁🙏

You should visit Florida, people have been hunting iguanas for a while now and a lot of people eat them. Some restaurants have them on the menu and they taste good. Using charcoal will always make meats taste better. See if you can find a charcoal chimney starter so you have fully lit charcoal. Best meat to grill is the Picanha lol, maybe it's the Brasilian in me speaking. Thank you once again for another great video and hugs to the family.

@@JayandLisa Some Jamaican restaurants will serve Iguana as mentioned in some videos I've seen here in yt. When I lived in Florida I ate alligators, snakes and frog legs....so good, but the Iguana situation wasn't as bad as it is nowadays. Call up a few Jamaican restaurants in the Broward and/or Miami/Dade counties.

Actually, iguanas were imported to be kept as pets, but some escaped into the wild and spread as seen.

Not wishing to pry on your business, but are you aware of a big Chinese fair going off in Prasat shortly, held over several days. It's a once a year event lots to see and do, last year there were loads of food stalls, amongst other things.

No, we haven't seen anything, we don't visit Prasat much to be honest. There's a few posters in Surin City of things happening soon so perhaps it's all linked. We need to learn to read Thai or pay more attention to these local Facebook groups to find out what's happening 😅

I looked it up, and you’re correct, also many have escaped from owners enclosures, or have been let loose. There’s an article online regarding them on, Thailand’s dept of National parks wildlife etc.
