I love it!!! I watch as much many "survival" shows as I can but yours takes the cake, not just for surviving 24 hours but for the friendly giggles I had along the way. "Just me and Nature" ... ohhh a cobweb" was my highlight and by the time you broke your rod I was psml. Rest assured I was laughing with you and not at you!!!! Bear Grylls needs to see this to get a true understanding of "solo survival

Well done Natt! I love nature but I only do caravan 😁. It has got everything I need 😂. We used to have a caravan when the kids were young and we were going up and down the UK during school holidays. It’s so much fun…. Good content!!

Love a good caravan holiday! Mine and Camila's families both used to do those too, absolutely loved it! The UK is underrated for that, some of the best times 😅

Congrats on your first fish, remember to tell people it was a huge catfish lol. Next time use a bobber so you don't loose your lures. I remember the days I used to fish with a bamboo rod, caught a lot of catfish and pleco. Remember the 3 most important things we need to survive, first being air, next is water and last is food, with that said get a nice survival filter so you'll have more drinking water if you do the 2 or 3 days. Here's another funny story and it has to do with my great uncle. We used to ride our bicycles by the river and we stopped to watch it and on the bank there were these huge crystals, but I later found out they were diamonds while a friend of mine and I were watching a show about diamonds here in the States. It i amazing how your videos keeps bringing memories on my days in Brasil. Thank you once again for an amazing video and as always hugs to the family.

Hi Nat .. one of the best vlogs you have done . So glad you stuck it out I was worried about the amount of water you had but so had you caught a fish ( with a stick ) great stuff mate well done . Not to compare but you should check out the chef vowit if you’ve not seen him already . He takes up a lot of our evenings watching his vlogs .. all the best to the family mate

An excellent video and really entertaining. So glad you got a fish! Please consider more training (it would make for good vlogs) before going out again. Risk is part of the thrill of course but you should clue yourself right up if you’re to do more. Dehydration is not part of survival, you should have access to as much clean drinking water as you need where possible! Also, you should have a really well thought out plan and form of communication to contact help should you need it! Let’s see you excel at it if you’re gonna do this. Also, for the sake of the environment… Always leave no trace!

@NativeFarang definitely, just do us a favour and don't die. Least you can do is go out with a waterfilter. Never heard of the channels you mentioned, so I'll check them out. I'm into the Outdoor boys, which is great and a German youtube survival show that actually made it onto TV, 7 vs Wild. 7 people with 7 items for 7 nights.

All those commenting about your water intake are so right. You can last much longer without food than you can without fluids. Be very careful as heat exhaustion is serious. I know it was only 24 hours but it is still dangerous. Other than that, I love all the videos of the family and you telling your story. Just take a bit more care on your solo adventures. 😁😁

Nate, please don't do that again. Seriously, you are lucky you didn't die. You didn't have nearly enough water, and no way to filter or sterilise more. I'm sure you found the walk out much more difficult - right? That's dehydration. Get a little bottle of iodine from the chemist, it is the most effective at sterilising water in the tropics. Also never take equipment you have not used before as you don't know how well it works. If you get something new, use it at home to get to know it. Apart from going in and out keep the door on the tent closed to prevent bugs. There is lots more I could share but not enough space here. Knowledge weighs the least. Best of luck.

@NativeFarang I would have my tent shut all the time. And I would grill fish above hot coals instead of fire. I wouldn't carry 3 different torches, 1 headlight is enough. I did several 7 days kayak trips in Ubon Ratchathani and slept on riverbanks in a tent and hammock.
@NativeFarang2 ай бұрын
@@PaulGroeneveld Well, different strokes for different folks. But I made it a challenge on purpose, if I came prepared it would be glamping rather than a survival challenge. The light is so I can film the video at night 😀
