Nissan Sunny slowly being replaced now. Saleng, best idea ever. Do they make the same side attached side car like in the Philippines where it's made for the rain ? he probably could make anything you want though.

❤👍🏻What a lovely lady. The basket with lid I love. If she made without handle in sizes she could put in each other easier to ship. I love my table I bought from you. I will be using alot during summer. I see you have stopped selling them. Have you thought about the mattresses that you kan get. They have on the beaches. 💞💞💞💞
@NativeFarang22 сағат бұрын
The villagers are so friendly and make some really beautiful products, unfortunately they are just so expensive to ship 😩 I wish there was an alternative way because the products are amazing and deserve to be shared but the shipping is just far too much. If we ever figure out a way to do it, we will list them on the website again 😊 We're glad you love your tables 😁🙏

I'm sure many of these skills will be lost in the next generation. Our village the locals would do wonders with bamboo making the tables and the bases for willowing rice. Many of the old folk would be weaving from silk or cotton. Not see now.

That was a fun and interesting day, that lady is a millionaire in the happiness department. I thought I was so smart once and learned how to say "banana" in Thai because there was a vendor I particularly liked and every day I'd ask him for fried banana, he always smiled until one day he explained what I was actually saying and he said "I never fry this" pointing to his nether regions. We both had the biggest laugh together and I never took a chance again 😆🤣

So how does one buy from these OTOP villages? Both inside and outside Thailand.
@Tyler_Thailand2 күн бұрын
@@Brutish1 good question. I believe “Khwao Sinarin Silver Handicraft Village” is the name of their OTOP I think their marketing is weak and maybe that’s why it’s dying out. If they had a good online presence the demand would be higher and less people would leave for higher paying jobs elsewhere. Not entirely sure if there’s a way to purchase online or if it’s solely an in person thing.
@RealistThailand1943Күн бұрын
@@Tyler_Thailand Unfortunately it is a in person thing Mostly due to the communication gap and no email or telephone communication
@NativeFarang22 сағат бұрын
There are lots of Facebook pages and websites but most of which are in Thai and aren't the easiest to find. It's definitely easier in person and looking out for the OTOP signs on the stalls at markets 😊🙏
