That is just an estimate from reports gathered during a different report that had nothing to do with iguanas. They eat native bird eggs, birds and other native lizards like the Anole and have almost no natural predators besides the other invasive species to south Florida, the Burmese python. If gone unchecked, in a few decades all we’d have were iguanas and tens of millions of damage that wouldn’t have been there otherwise.

Yes you need a license and you don't sell them. Once you remove them they're your responsibility. You have an option to kill them and keep the meat for you and friends/family, or you could do like a lot of dickweeds do in this state and just skin them and toss the rest.
