Thank You Nick for explaining all the banks on this guitar. I have them all written down. I just bought this guitar in the hope it will replace the 4 guitars i haul around with me to gigs, namely Acoustic, 6 string Banjo, 12 string Acoustic, and a Parlour. I am a solo player, and play a large variety of genres, and establishments from Working Mens Clubs to Age Care Centres. This seems the ideal guitar as it saves not only time when playing and have to change instruments, but gives the tonal variety I need. I am Loving this guitar and look forward to many years of playing and many years of not having to haul around so much gear.

I have exactly those types of guitar, plus an archtop and a reso. Only take one to gigs though, and two of them are currently wall ornaments. This box does look useful and I hope it enhances your enjoyment of being a musician.

Great review. Now I know what this guitar is. I saw one at the store and they couldn't really say much about it. I'm a multi-instrumentalist this has a lot of appeal and I don't have to drag a bunch of instruments to a gig.

This guitar deserves a seriously good demo & it certainly got one here.

Would have been nice to hear some heavy strumming on the large acoustic settings. Some of the modelled sounds were excellent, some not so much.

I wished you'd covered the cheap plastic battery box and batteries that only just last for a two hour gig. also if you don't remove the battery box between playing sessions the batteries will last an even shorter time

Very informative review. Thanks. Also like that how you place the guitar in the “classical” position. I learned that way years ago I find it very comfortable.

Is this guitar different from the VOX Giulietta 3PS? If so, how?
@lesteubes-r1t5 ай бұрын
Back in the day, the Vox 251 guitar-organ came in for quite a bit of criticism. It was incredibly innovative, but also very complicated and reputed to be unreliable. In fact, I know a session guitarist who avoided all Vox guitars his whole life after he heard stories about its failings (which may or may not have been apocryphal). I always wondered whether Vox persevered with trying to pack multiple instruments into a single guitar - and now I know the answer is a resounding ‘yes’. It sounds great (you play wonderfully, btw, but I guess you know that) and it’s definitely more user-friendly than the 251. Now the process begins of definitely not buying one… especially as I already own a Vox Bobcat (which I love)… even though I do like the look and sound of that Giuletta… maybe next year…

At last! I know how to pronounce ‘piezo’ lol. Many thanks. That reminds me of Lindsay Buckingham’s guitar, and sounded like it when you started off

Why do guitar makers think that we need a sitar sound lol. It’s not appealing at all to 95% of people. I think the electric sound is more convincing than the acoustic sounds.
