Your knowledge and skill is far greater than mine but your sense of humor lines up perfectly with mine!! Thanks!!

Looks good... Wish you were closer, I have 3 that need a little help in the shifting. Different models 1456 and 1586

Thanks. Yeah those are a bit different But they are much easier to do.

I really enjoy Your videos. I have a 656 that has every bit of play in it's shifting. May work on it some day. Thanks for the view.

When viewing this video, why is the clutch shown on the right side of frame instead of the left?

Unfortunatly the video managed to flip itself on that scene so it looks a bit funny

Question for you. I also have a 666. For some reason it doesn't want to stay in 4th gear. I know it's hard to say without looking at it, but is there something I can check to see if it is something as far as an adjustment or will we have to look inside? Really enjoy your work on these fine tractors. Interesting to watch someone who has a lot of knowledge.

Could it be that your linkage is so worn that it isn't throwing it all of the way into fourth gear? I would take the battery and tray out, shift it in and out of fourth gear and make sure the linkage is doing its job all of the way.

@@IHdelight We had that apart as we had to replace the cast piece under the battery tray where the big pin goes through for the linkages. It cracked and then it wouldn't shift at all. It dropped down enough for it to bind. It doesn't clunk but it makes a sound like the gears aren't meshing right. Then it will pop out. If you are going downhill it will stay in, but uphill it will pop out. Makes that gear useless. Thank you for your response.

Aren't the shift levers a weak point on these tractors?
@IHdelight8 ай бұрын
Eh, yeah I suppose.
