nashi's effect says exile the top card of each players library (that would include the controller) from the edit it doesnt look like he also exiled the top card of his library also you pay life equal to its cost.

You can choose that. But its exponentially harder to get your commander back if it in the library.

It can only change zones as a result of a state-based action, not in the middle of the resolution of a spell.

Yes you are correct. You still get the shuffle and flip the top card.

If you're talking about putting commanders back in the command zone specifically, that's only true if the commander goes into the graveyard or exile. If it goes into a hidden zone (as with Chaos Warp), it's a replacement effect and it does happen in the middle of the resolution of the spell.

How did Larry get the additional combat on the 2nd to last turn? He had to attack the player with the highest life total to trigger that, but that player was himself. He should have only gotten the one.

I stand bye the rat that lets him exile the top card of a opponents libary if it hits and he can play it should only make the one that got hit with the rat exile the top card. Not great feels for me to lose a top card and have it played due to something that did not hit me. Overall larry and lynch's decks were the more entertaining.
