That was real time problem solving. I was like how the fuck do I get this out. Then I paniced because I didn't know what was wrong at first.. and hadn't gotten all of my shots yet. The I realized that Kershaw would probably hate me- because of a dumb reason. I found it early this morning, got it back together and everything is fine. Just fine.

so if you had to choose between the speed safe natrix and this one you'd choose the newer unassisted model? Doesn't this perform just as well as an assisted? Most of my unassisted CRKT knifes need the wrist flick to open properly which I'm not crazy about.
@AdvancedKnifeBro6 жыл бұрын
I don't need it on this one. I don't like that speed safes require the harder initial force to deploy... that is more fatiguing during fidgeting than a nice ball bearing flipper with a poppy detent.

When the original natrix came out I loved it except for the assisted opening mechanism. Almost jumped on this knife before I realized $46 is a bit much for a knife in 8cr13mov. I'd be all over a dealer exclusive in a better steel for a little more.
@AdvancedKnifeBro6 жыл бұрын
There's no reason for these to be assisted when you have that nice poppy detent.
@jayweast13066 жыл бұрын
A good manual flipping action is rare under $50 and might make the price barely reasonable. In D2 or 14c28n this would be a must buy. As it is, it looks to be a good knife but they are asking to absolute most I would consider paying for it.

It absolutely wasn't predictable. I mean sometimes it is predictable, I'll give you that- but your blanket statement is wrong. kzbin.info/www/bejne/r3_YeXutn5V8g8U The Bugout holds up fine, and is constructed very similarly... no liners- although it's made of a hard plastic instead of G10- and to be fair is even lighter than this knife.

Better than Spyderco's cheap Byrd line. They intentionally made those FRN handles so blocky and cheap feeling so you'd think the more contoured plastic of the FRN Delica is worth the $75 price. They could have easily made smooth and contoured edges for the molds.
@BMfins6 жыл бұрын
BornIn1500 G10 on Spyderco’s knifes raises the price by $50 because G10 is so expensive 🙄 Spyderco’s price creep is out of control.
