This is a 2.5-star resort at most. If you're okay with that, then this place is perfect for you. The service is the best. The staff is fully aware of the poor physical quality of the hotel ans do their best to accommodate, but you must be persistent and firm with them. The food is good/decent. The best dinner we ate was at the steakhouse. The rooms are old and in dire need of full gut renovations; water damage to the point where some rooms are moldy/mildewey and the mosquitoes hid out in those rooms but not others. We changed rooms several times and ended up in the not-so-run-down side. We ended up in the swim up rooms, which honestly were very nice, but alao leaky and hot water was a privilege, lol. I just got back with my family and am in the process of writing a detailed review. There is a 4th hotel on the property that is supposed to be their upscale adult-only opfion. They share all the same facilities with the exception of 2 restaurants that are exclusive to then only, that hotel is called TRS. In my personal opinion, go someplace else.

Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video!! I am wondering how the night life is and the ambiance, is it more American or is there a Dominican vibe to it? I an planning on going in December with my family including kids and we are looking for a Dominican culture type if ambiance :)

We particularly liked the tropical/Dominican feeling of the complex, especially when it comes to vegetation and the hotel structure itself; also the music choice in the different areas. When it comes to nightlife, the disco was still closed (we read somewhere they're using this space for covid testing for guests who need it) but they play music right outside the disco; we didn't experience it though because we were very tired. There were lots of people walking around coming and going to the restaurants, also there was live music in the lobby.

Wanted to ask if you dont mind which resort was the night adult pool and nightclub located. The first review made me nervous about the rooms Lol 😆 😬 😅 I thought my search was over. Me and my husband really enjoy going off property at times which we plan to check out coco bongo, But we prefer a nice resort the room has to be comfortable with good food and drinks and a lit party pool and a nice nightclub on property will be good. I am all over the place, Can you help with any suggestions 😊

I hope you see my message. I have been watching all your videos and trying to still figure out which resort to stay at. They are informative so thank you! I am still deciding on which resort to book. I am between a few - Melia Caribe (my brother stayed here some years ago), Riu Palace Punta Cana/Bavaro, Grand Bavaro Princess and now Palladium (the last 2 because of Indian restaurants being in these resorts which my husband will appreciate). My 13 yr old I think would enjoy the Riu because of the waterpark. And of course the beach is the most important and the food. What would you suggest? A friend of mine went to the Dreams resort which she recommended, but again where the beach is beautiful and the food is good is where we want to be.

Thank you so much for your feedback =) Between those resorts you mentioned, we would pick the Grand Bavaro Princess, they have good food and their indian restaurant has delicious food as well. The problem is that this resort doesn't have a waterpark. The Riu Palace Punta Cana is a great option as well because of the waterpark, their food and drinks but the rooms aren't as nice as Grand Bavaro Princess. I would not pick Melia Caribe Beach, they have a good waterpark and some of the food is good but the hotel layout and rooms are deal breakers for us. Hope this helps! =)

Rooms were not done twice at times not enough towels due to little hurricane at 3 AM bottle of water in the room specially, in the bathroom full of water water was leaking from pot light walls at 3 AM when we complained nobody showed up after four phone calls, I could have been electrocuted 4 AM till 9:30 AM. My wife and I was sitting in the lobby there was no help pathetic experience.

@@sleepwalker2112 rooms were not made for a day or two not enough towels. There was a little hurricane one day when at 3 AM puddle of water bathroom was full of water water leaking from all areas of the walls from the pot light switch could have been electrocuted we complained we are sending someone we met for phone calls. Nobody showed up at 4 AM till 9:30 AM. My wife and myself we were sitting in the lobby waiting for the senior management to come and look at our room, it was a pathetic experience. Senior management is good but they’re customer service overall I would give zero pathetic we are not asking for full refund. We are asking for the days three days that we suffered with no hot water in our room till today it, we are not getting any concrete answer from them. It was a disaster vacation

Do someone know if by the end of April there are seaweeds? I read on internet that there is no seaweed’s season however based on the last years the worst months are from September to January. We are planning to go to this Bávaro area. Thanks in advance for any answer!!!

Summer months have the highest amount of seaweed. The season picks up in May and wanes down in November. Winter months have the lowest amounts. This being said, this changes from day to day and even beach to beach.

this place seems kinda outdated and has a really odd shower setup in a bathtub. The Princess Bavaro right next to it is way better and has more modern rooms and amazing food.

They only cater to reward members people here from now on go to a different hotel the whole time you here enjoying the beach people come up to ask for a cigar or try to sell you, something people, at this hotel try to sell you club rewards the food is the same thing every day at the buffet it's impossible to get a reservation at any restaurant or less you are a club member has been here now for 5 days everything in the room is broken the AC is a joke feels more like a fan
