Indigenous Hip Hop Projects was so proud to make this video in partnership with Indigenous Eye Health at The University of Melbourne along with Shire of Ngaanyatjarraku, Wilurarra and Warburton community, Ngaanyatjarra Lands WA.
Trachoma can make you blind, so this music video/health resource was made by community members to show how to eliminate trachoma through washing faces and making sure that bathrooms, taps and showers are kept safe and functional.
Trachoma rates have come right down through the annual antibiotics program and keeping kids faces clean (without mucky eyes or snotty noses). By working together trachoma it can be eliminated. So remember kids, if your face is dirty, wash it - you only need a little bit of water!
