IIDX Club Version (896 BBM)

This is the second revision of Beatmania IIDX Club Version. It is essentially identical to 1st Style, using the same security dongle, video disc and hard drive for sound. Only the program disc is changed. This version adds a network options menu and allows linking with Dance Dance Revolution Club Mix v. 1. This allowed DDR players to play exclusive songs available only when a DDR and IIDX cabinet linked and helped push the popularity of IIDX at the time. There seems to be no international version of Club Version, as all versions of it warn that it is for Japan only. I cannot tell if there is any difference between this version and 896 ABM Club Version, so it is possible that this is just a bugfix. The protocol doesn't change in the test menu and the game seems identical.

i thought only 2nd style had ddr links this is cool!!!

1st style had the club mix upgrade discs, substream had a separate network-enabled kit, and 2nd style just had it built in! IIRC the substream and 2nd style kits were the same (DDR 2nd Club Mix v2) and 1st style was on its own (DDR 2nd Club Mix v1).
