If you are branch specific then go for better branches in iiits and nits otherwise BioE is good you can find more on the website

Hi i am getting bs in chemical sciences at IIT MANDI during placements will bs students be allowed for placements along with btech students and are bs students treated partially compared to btech students

No one can answer this properly because this started last year only. As per I know companies won't allow students of bs to sit along with BTech students for placement.

@@HarshDubeyIITMD bhaiya i gave advanced this year and my marks are 163 may increase to 170 if some changes happen in final ans key at 163 marks i m expecting rank between 3k to 4k if rank comes in this range then i will probably take data science at iit mandi otherwise if rank comes between 4k to 5k whether i should take mechanical at iit guwahati or i take circuital branch at iit mandi like electrical or microelectronics at iit mandi currently i m going through courses offered in various branches of engineering and i m getting interest in microelectronics branch which is available only at iit mandi but there is little bit of risk to take newly offered branch in a college because ultimately we want good placements branch doesn't matters since microelectronics is a new branch i m unaware about its placement statistics so please advice me if rank comes in range of 4k to 5k should i take microelectronics or go with electrical engineering at iit mandi or mechanical at iit guwahati bhaiya plz reply
