sir at calculation of D.L &L.L you written units as kn/m^2 but that is kn/m know sir., you multiplied with width know so it is Kn/m.

Sir you are designing two way slab but deflection check as per code for two slab is l/d =35 for Simply Support and l/d=40 for continuous support..please clear the doubt of deflection check..

In my college it was told that, you can Assume D to be around 450mm depending upon the lenght of effective span in two way slabs

@@RomanReigns-hd8vh if in question slab have to design in no.of part (panel) then check which type of panel is given and chose types of panel from table 26 If nothing is mentioned simply mentioned cslab then go through the table 27

Sir....Thank you for your valuable knowledge to share. But I have a question about why we used the required area of steel for deflection calculation instead of required steel. And you also repeat this word very strictly to use req. Area of steel. What is the logic behind it?

Hi Sir, I am learning your online lecture and getting a lot. Thank you so much for concept of that. But I have little bit confuse about Mu for ly..please check for us. At the time of 20:39/ 52:25 of your video, M(y) should be base on L(y) value. If base on L(y) Value, M(y) value will be 30.9543 kNm instead of 16.372512 kNm. If we choose Max Value, this M(y) value will govern for d value. x/d value for longer direction too, we should use Mu value 30.9543 kNm instead of 16.372512 kNm. Please kindly reply Sir because I have confused this part.
