u(t) doesnt equal to 1 when t=0 ????

For which signal? In case of Unit-step, it is equal to 1 at t=0. In case of Unit-ramp, it is equal to 0 at t=0 and so on....

its not equal to 1 because u(t) is Discontinuous at t=0 ; theoritically we take u(t)=0.5 at t=0.
