If P is the matrix of (column) eigenvectors and D is the diagonal matrix of eigenvalues, then e^(Lt) = Pe^(Dt)P', where P' is the inverse of P NOT the transpose (only used ' to make it more legible). Note this decomposition only works with diagonalizable L.

Differential equations. If u are doing non - linear dynamics as a physics course then u need differential equations and classical mechanics. But idk how much classical mechanics u need to know or to what level u ought to know
