I never had such an intuitive understanding of this topic though I have a master in theoretical physics. Well done sir. thanks.

Haven't logged in for a while, just logged in because I have to express my gratitude to Dr Haridross for such clear and visual explanation. I learned more in this lesson than in the last month in my solid state physics course. I look forward to watching your other videos.

MIT lectures failed to make me understand this so was oxford course notes but you sir have made it 'crystal' clear for me in the first go. Thanks a lot.

This is a spectacular lecture! Thank you for clearly explaining many key points that other professors and text books often fail at. I also have a question for you. Why can the origin in reciprocal space be located at any reciprocal lattice vector? If a wave function has a wave vector equal to any reciprocal lattice vector, does it have an energy of 0?

Sir, In the Bz boundaries there is no particles are present actually I think. So I have confused with the concept of saying diffraction taking place at BZ boundaries when wave touches there?
