I think the good armor was the executioner thing so u got it back on a finishing move since that wasn’t on every shield yet

07:09 Season 0 Gold Shield would regenerate when you did a finisher (other shields did not). That was its only advantage over Purple. Today, all shields refill when you pop a finisher, and Gold shield lets you use small heals more efficiently (you get twice the charge from them). Season 0 Gold Backpack would give you 50% faster heals. Gold Backpack today gives you bigger stacks for healing items. Season 0 Gold Knockdown let you self-res. Today's Gold Knockdown allows you to res downed players and give them 75HP afterwards. Season 0 Gold Helmet was the same as today: Faster ability recharge.

Seeing the amount of damage he takes from each fight, from ppl up close really shows how much apex has changed for worse, everyone was mnk, game took skill, then it went downhill, everyone changed to controller and it became a 1 clipping fest, if aceu, timmy, and everyone else from those days were would see the lobbies we have today they would think everyone is cheating, when in reality its just all controllers 1 clipping lmao, good old days gone.
