Thanks for the tour! Ijiri looks like an interesting little neighborhood. Factoring in affordability and access to train lines, I think it would be a good area to check out when looking for an apartment once I’m finally able to enter Japan and begin my language studies in Fukuoka. I’ll also make sure to visit Rémy’s yatai! ありがとうございました!

As it get hotter and hotter here in Japan I'll likely start walks either earlier in the mornings or later evenings - hope one of those is better for you.

I've stayed at Hakata Sharely Style several times (through GenkiJACS) so I'm really happy you did a livestream in Ijiri, and even passed by Sharely Style. That open garden (no wall!) has been my favourite part of Ijiri since my very first day there in 2013. ^_^ My friend and I used to wait for the sound of the bamboo pipe to hit the stone once it was filled with water. Thanks for the recommendations in this area!

Our pleasure! Glad you were able to re-visit some of your favorite places. We'll continue to show more "regular" neighborhoods in addition to the better known parts of town. Thanks for watching.

Thanks again to Rémy for being such a wonderful and fun guide. Can't wait to take Kyushu Live followers to his yatai when it reopens. In the meantime lets support him via his online shop home.tsuku2.jp/storeDetail.php?scd=0000151488
