WOW! Just WOW! And congrats to Ik Multimedia: Piano sounds really great! Being in the list of products you demoed is kind of an honor for developers. Hope Pianoteq will consider it (already sent them the link to one of your incredible demos :) ). Also, it would be great to watch the demo of VILabs - Ravenscroft 275 (not iOS). I'm sure that you will get millions of subscribers. You deserve it. Thank you.

Sounds really good...Alot of people dont like the out of the box sounds for SampleTank....but when you put your own Instruments together....it is 2nd II None.

I'm new to SampleTank and found it extremely useful so far. Lack of musicianship can also be a deciding factor for many users. It's also easy to just echo something they read on music forums.

What a wonderful improvisation, i appreciate your work and your great talent. You are a gorgeous player. I hope to play one day like you. I´m just a beginner for five years now but i love to play the piano especially to improvise over chord progressions and with the awesome Yamaha "Smart Pianist App" which is in my opinion the best app you can get for playing the piano in terms of fun and rhythm progression just play along to your songs or you tube records is fantastic.You almost feel like beeing in a real band environment. Dear "In the Mix" i´ve got one question...i´m looking for a very nice keyboard and VST. I know it´s the same old question, but you are a pro and with so much experience so i would like to hear your answer especially in terms of playability and natural sound. I´ve got many but sometimes i can not connect properly to the sound. What is your favourite VST in terms of sound and playability and of course which one inspires you the most i think that is maybe the main important thing, which most players don´t think of. Or, which stage piano can you recommend. Because i´m going to buy one soon now it´s the yamaha P 115 but i want a better one. Thank you so much for sharing your playing and your great talent, i appreciate that a lot. Greetings from Germany Olaf

Hi Olaf, thank you very much for the compliment. I've never heard of that Yamaha Smart Pianist app. I gotta check it out sometimes for sure. I don't know if I can come up with the best Piano library list. I like Ivory pianos for their acoustic/natural quality which is needed for classical music. I also like NI pianos - Grandeur in particular- for pop/rock songs. Noire is good especially if you combine it with the particles engine. There's more good pianos and for me they're all playable. You just have to see which one fits the type of music you play. For stage pianos, if you're on a smaller budget, maybe you should consider Casio's S1000 or S3000. They're the best for the price.

@@InTheMixReviews thank you for answering. I appreciate your work and love your playing-style. Forgive me for my english i`m german. You should get the Yamaha smart pianist app and the chordtracker app from Yamaha aswell.The good thing is, they are completly free. The best thing with this app is, you can pick any song from your i -tunes library and the app will make a chord-sheet out of it, in seconds.The accuracy is pretty good i would say 80%-90% for popsongs.You can even change the chords. And the best thing is you can even transform you- tube videos which you can download with the "D-Manager" app, also for free.So you can download any video with this app and send it to the smart-pianist app which will automatically make a chord-sheet out of it. And when you play the song you can change tempo and even transpose it in the app. It´s fantastic.I would say it´s almost a dream. So you play along to your music it´s like being in a real band absolutely awesome. It´s the best way to learn rhythm, feel, timing and chords at once. So you must try it out !!! In the Mix can you give me some advice for improvisation, did you learn it by yourself or did someone taught you.And one more question, do you connect your i pad to an external soundcard "while playing" or do you use the headphone-jack ??? Thank you very much and please keep uploading videos you are a fantastic player. Best regards: Oliver

Hello, excellent demonstration, I ask you a question, a few days ago you acquired the sample tank 4 but I can't find that preset you are using, where did you get it? Is it a preset apart? Thank you
@InTheMixReviews5 жыл бұрын
Hi Max, you know it could be a SampleTank 3 preset as well. I have both installed so I might've accessed it that way.
