Mike, I like seeing you take the time to teach us how to fish. I have to admit I wasn’t really a fan but after watching your videos I like what your doing. Keep up the good work teaching us all how to fish better!

A lot of us think of Aaron Martens as being one of the more "experimental" pro anglers, always looking for a twist, and he is that. But, Mike is right there with him, maybe more so, in terms of looking at common presentations from all sides, all angles . . . to find an advantage. He consistently delivers these sorts of rigging and presentation ideas.

Pretty good, Mike. Big fan here, using your Renegade signature sunglasses. But this looks like a pretty good way to customs wait any tube. You can move the split shot anywhere along the hook shank to get a nosedive, glide or tail drag etc. Thanks buddy

I'm a huge tube fisherman, great lakes smallmouth, Ike you need to look at the Lifted Jigs line of tube heads, they make a goby tube jig and they are perfect, they settle with their butt down and head up just like a goby, I love them on Lake St Clair

So, if I fish with a buddy and he uses the exact same tube on a tube jig and I use this rig and we both cast at the same time and our tubes land 2' apart and a bass is there (or swims by) and sees both tubes, it's gonna think gee, that thing has it's head down so it might not be food or it just doesn't look right but that thing has it's head up which means it must be food or it just looks better so I'll on chomp on it and not the other one. Lol. What about hook-up percentage, ease of hook-up, and staying hooked considerations?

I've been weighting tubes that way for over 20 years. I take a bullet weight and punch a hole with my led punch pliers and let it hang on the hook. It makes the tube fall like a wounded bait fish
