Without Tina and the Ikettes The band of Rythm or whatever their name was..wouldn't have had the same commercial success. It was a package deal! In my opinion 🤔

The band's name was The Kings of Rhythm and the Ikettes were from L to R Esther Jones, Edna Richardson and Jean Brown.

Don;t ask me why, but I've watched a bunch of these Ike'n'Tina shows these past coupla three or four days. They're brilliant, of course, but not until now did I appreciate what a great musician/band leader was Ike Turner. Shame, guess it was the coke what blew it all apart. Or he was a pr*ck.
