I honestly just love your vibe so much! its like "here are some plants just look at them i dont know what else to say" lol but thats exactly right. I think most ppl in the hobby just want to look at them and enjoy them. I also dont like the idea of trying to fight the environment just to try to grow something for the sake of collecting it, i mean its not sustainable long term. It is much much more satisfying when u love them and they love you back growing large and healthy living harmoniously together. just like what you do with all your plants.

I LOOOOVE anthuriums. Got mine (Mag x cross Mag x and Mag x crystal) in a the mini IKEA house coz they just babies. Plus I have my Clarinervium just under some good humidifiers coz she ok with less humidity. I have not sealed the green house, I have just done stone tray and have been getting lots of aerial roots so I am assuming they like the humidity they have. However if I had a Waroc I would give it it’s own IKEA Green House!! 😍😍😍

I’m replicating & journaling the process of using your method in Southern California, the biggest difference is humidity as I’m in wine country & pretty far from the beach, however all of my small plants & cuttings were locally grown in our dryer climate, so I’m hoping I will have success.

Wow, tbh I didn't even know that Anthuriums can have a variegtation. Now that I think of it I ask myself why, I mean it's a plant, of course it can 🤷 Anyways, I am not someone who just loves all variegated plants and I don't know anything about Anthuriums as well 🤣 but WOW I just absolutely fell in love with the look of that variegated magnificum. It's absolutely adorable! I'll not google it as I don't wanna see the price tag on those (we all know ppl have a habit of selling a kidney for plant just because it shows variegation 🙄) and I'll just keep liking it :) Plus props for that little Fight Club arrangement at 21:41 😝👏

Hiiii! your videos are such an inspiration that I (a total noob) decided I want to try making this. Thank you so so much for all this great content. I have a noob question though :D Did I understand correctly that you do not additionally humidify the inside of the cabinet in any way? The humidity just develops and stays in there because of all the plants?

Do you use your Ikea greenhouse only for only Anthuriums? If not what other plants live in the cabinet?
@sydneyplantguy2 жыл бұрын
Yes just anthuriums but you could use it for any small high humidity loving plants & seedlings
@kayleecutter80202 жыл бұрын
Correct IDs add value to the plants, if you show your plants you have to label it as Anthuriums unknown. Just like Orchids. The x is pronounced as cross, for obvious reasons. Flea markets in Qlds right up to 2013 were selling queens , kings , crystallinums for $20 for a 140ml pots. It’s the social media influencers that made the price sky rocket. It doesn’t matter how common the Anthurium , growing the seedlings will produce a variable grex. You’ll never know what you might get, variegation, dark factors aka red forms, hypopigmentation (aureas) etc.
@kgambler2 жыл бұрын
Are the legboards an Ikea product? It is possible to just order the grids of the pegboard separately then. Love all your videos btw. I started some mosspoles myself and I can't wait to see the results I can get in the Netherlands :)
