I'm 59 years old and have NEVER walked into an Ikea store! I recently made my first purchases of furniture to set up my new sewing room but even that was online and delivered to my house. Thanks for the tour so now I know what it's like - without all the legwork!

Our nearest Ikea has a rack outside with boards and parts of wardrobes etc which are free to anyone who wants them or has the room in their car. My husband and son used a small one and made a pin art picture with it.

Re the last felt item: Yes, you could use it to carry craft items on the go. I believe it’s a purse organizer. You fill it with all your “bits and bobs” and when you change purses - Voila! Simply, pull out the organizer, and insert it into the next purse. No fuss!😄

I brought home 4 of the Trones Shoe Storage containers back in 2019, thinking I surely could pull off hide-able / accessible craft storage in them, but, try as I might, I couldn’t find a wall where I was sure they’d work. BUT … 😜🤪 … after the first of the year sometime, I WILL be getting a craft space, so I may revisit the idea. Maybe this time the ones with the drawers on top. It just seemed that these would be ideal to put scrap books in to hold my 12” x 12” paper suspended in page protectors. (Stacks of papers seem to invite ignoring them as too difficult to sort through. And I’d think it would actually stretch - or crease - the paper trying to get it out of the stack.)

I get so many great ideas from them---and in this one---my big aha moment was the Fjalla box and insert----I love the thought of staking my ephemera by occasion/category! I just bought several medium Kuggis boxes with lids. I'm using them to store pieces for quilt projects I'm working on. I use Tjena boxes for storing 5" charm squares. I'm so glad there's an Ikea less than an hour from my house.

Great job! Can't wait to visit IKEA to pickup some of these storage items. Currently working on organizing my quilting/sewing room. Currently I have 2 - 6 foot, 5 shelf, heavy duty chrome wire racks. have large plastic containers that are to heavy to left, so I'm going to check into getting some smaller containers. I’m going to ikea for the first time next weekend and I’m so excited. We have one 1.5 hours away now and I’m going!!! But there’s a lot of stuff that I wanted that’s on sale. Do u know how long the sale is going on or are they always that low in the stores? The website says they are regular price for the stuff that I wanted. Btw this is the best ikea video I have ever seen. Awesome job!!!
