You could use a sponge to clean up the water that stays in the sink, this way you will not have to remove the sink anymore to empty it.

I would look into getting a tiny home sink with the same dimensions

Just curious on the cooking utensils. They look like the perfect size and functional. Where did you find these? Thank you for sharing the draining option! I was pondering how to do this :) the plug is an extra bonus I didn’t even think about!

I'm so sorry about the late reply. I got the black ones from ikea and the green ones I got at the dollar store. They really are perfect size!

Hello, may I ask you how you cut the hole on sink? What tool did you use? Thank you.

We used a 1 1/2in circle drill bit. You can find it at most stores. On the video it 0:22 where you can see it. I hope this helps. Best of luck! Let me know if you have anymore questions. 🙂

@@jessaleeb198 thank you. Also, do you also stick the water pump on the kitchen?
@jessaleeb1983 жыл бұрын
I did, I used the silicone and went around the inside base and then wiped away anything on the outside. I have seen where people use an L brackets to do it as well. You would have to put a pilot hole in the plastic and wood first. I didn't feel comfortable doing it as I was not sure if the plastic in the pump would crack.

Hi! So I just bought the ikea nybakad kitchen for a montessori self-care station in our bathroom. Currently we use it with a spigot drink dispenser and dump the sink, our 19MO used it to wash her hands after potty and brush her teeth. I am trying to apply this "hack" and but it is much smaller understorage than the duktig kitchen so I am not sure what water storage, I was having such a hard time trying to figure out how to mount the pump so it did not tip over, since its permanently placed, do you have trouble charging it?

I dont have a issue charging it. We have only charged it like 3xs. We do it at night and just use a extension cord. I'm not sure about the nybakad kitchen. Maybe taking out the shelf or drilling a hole in it as well. You could always use fabric curtain to cover it. I know our son likes to watch it sometimes to see how it works. Hope this helps.
