So, it actually makes perfect sense that the desk didnt break, that honeycomb design is that way for a reason, the honeycomb structure is extremely strong, if you were to actually reinforce something with that same structure in metal or even plastic form, it could easily, easily hold the weight of several 300+ pound weights.

I've owned 5 different varieties of Linnmon desks since 2013. They are the best value desk imo. That said you need the be careful with monitor arm mounts. The desk's veneer will start to give in over time from the weight of the display on the clamp and create a dent.

I think ikea delivery fees depend on how big your item is, a 100x60 Linmon is probably small enough to be shipped via dpd or ups but with my new desk because of the sheer size of the tabletop and pair of ikea Alex drawers I had to pay £40 but they sent 2 guys to my house to deliver it so I’m not really going to complain about that cost but I would if I only bought Linmons

Take a blow drier and heat up the power strip adhesive to reactivate and place it back underneath the table and hold it their for a few minutes....disconnect all of the electrical outlet prior to heating up the adhesive, so basically make sure that theirs no outlet plugged into the outlet strip at all

The best adhesive I’ve ever used is called stick like shit. Honestly the amount of times I can’t find fixings in wall for a sink and I used sticks like shit, it becomes apart the wall. So so good

I've had the linnmon desks for a couple of years now and the only thing i dont like about it is how hollow the wood is inside of the desk. Tried to use a dual monitor stand that screws into the desk and the desk cant hold the weight of the monitors so there's holes underneath the desk where I tried to place the monitor stand in. Edit: I typed this before you mentioned the honey combed wood inside the desk lol
