IKEA Shopping in My Ferrari GTC4Lusso! | VLOG 51

When the most practical car at @TheShmuseum is a Ferrari, but you need to go out for some IKEA cabinets...! Of course we're taking the GTC4Lusso Shmeemobile to pick up some glass display cases for the expanding collection of model cars to have on display.
Reminiscent of the original FF trip to IKEA 5 years ago to purchase a bookcase to display my significantly smaller at the time collection, this time around we're using the Lusso as intended for all purposes including picking up 4 display cases to house the 1:18 scale models.
After easily managing our purchases, it's back to the barn to get them built before Brad and Tom swap back over the wheel on the Audi RS3 after we've had a puncture.

Doubling the shelf capacity in the detholfs make them look alot better Plus adding LED lighting is a great way of picking up all the different colours of the models....keep the vids coming guys!

I know you aren't planning on it but I really wish this was a permanent shmeemobile. The noise, the practicality, the spec, the looks, the significance of a naturally aspirated Ferrari V12, the history of the GTC4 and the Ferrari shooting brake in general on the channel really makes this one of the best cars you've owned I think.

It's a fun process unboxing a collection. Ive recently photographed all 330 of my slot car collection. Took me ages. Also Brad no point dusting them till they are in their final spot 👍 love how you are more scared of the models lol

Is there an update to the cruise control systems on the Lusso? I saw one with what looked like a radar box unit like Roma's. I think it can be done by third parties, but maybe there was an option for the last ones that came off the line in 2019?

Those cabinets are a nightmare, they have gaps around parts of the glass and allow dust in them. You be constantly cleaning the models and the inside glass. I binned the ones i had years ago and got sealed cabinets.

While the Lusso was able to do the job; I think a better car to replace the G wagon might be an RS6 Avant.
