Amanda, you are amazing and an inspiration! I am currently between surgery and radiation after being diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer in August. I am still keeping my race goals in place as it gives me motivation to keep eating well and exercising. I explored my ikigai a few years ago and cancer has sharpened my focus on living it every day. Thank you so much for sharing your story.

Dear you are loved beyond words can describe. You know it already, right? You don't need proof to yourself to anyone. And please forgive others. If people hurt you or not appreciate you is that they were living in their own struggles. There is an amazing book from Dr. Gabor Maté : when the body says no. If you have time, please read it. All the best 🙏🏻

I had the blessing of going to high school with Amanda and I can confirm she has ALWAYS been this radiant, genuine, kindhearted, incredibly intelligent and STRONG in all senses of the word. She is a force to be reckoned with and the Lord has His hand upon her in such stunning ways. I love you Amanda!!!! This film is riveting and so visually captivating - but best of all it’s true.

She's a total bad ass. And the film, you guys? Are you kidding me? It's fucking stellar. Amanda is so inspiring. As long as there are people like her in the world, I have faith in humanity. Same goes to the whole team at B.P.N. You guys are next level. You smash every project you take on, you guys. Outstanding work.

Everyone has a story ... but not like this. I loved hearing Amanda describe late in the race (paraphrasing): this isn't suffering - painful but not suffering. I think she meant as compared to cancer - running isn't ever suffering; rather it provides her so much life, joy, happiness, conviction, etc. Bless your beautiful heart, Amanda.

A true description of anything is possible. My life statement that I live by is “It’s All Mental.” Everything is. In this video she showed it. If you literally tell yourself something won’t break you & you truly believe it, it won’t. Anything is possible to overcome & mentally if you know this anyone can be “Unbreakable.” Love that statement. Great video. Truly inspiring.

I’m in awe of and frankly have always been envious of people like Amanda who channel their pain and trauma into performance. Or who seem to have this endless drive to achieve. I’ve had depression and anxiety since I was 8 years old. Some days, getting out of bed feels like a marathon effort in itself. And there’s nothing impressive about it. I’ve always felt like a chronic underperformer. But some days my 100% looks like other’s 2%. I found this so inspiring and Amanda you are superhuman 💕

Love this lady💕 Such an inspiration 🙏 I found out I had stage 1 uterine cancer in 2022. They found 6 tumors about the size of lemons. I had a full hysterectomy at the age of 37. There is little to no support for women’s health. I had physical therapist after physical therapist turn me away because they did not have a program to assist me. What?!? 🤯 My own surgeon told me their is almost zero research results to explain why this happens to women. Thanks to god I was blessed with a great father and amazing Husband. My father was a former Army Infantry soldier and fitness trainer. He was severely injured during his military career and was told he could never run again due to his knee having zero cartilage because of all the damage. He went on to run 7 marathons. My father drafted a physical therapy plan for me to gain my strength back again. It literally started with Day 1- Walk around your block. The pain was so intense it took me 20 minutes but I did it. My husband walked with me everyday .. encouraged me on days that were very Dark. After following Amanda’s channel I was inspired to do what I love again … Run. I am up to 10 miles a week now. Thank you 🙌🙏💕💪

There are so many lessons to take in over the course of this video, not least that if you suspect something is not right, you get yourself checked. As a melanoma survivor, my father with brain cancer and pancreatic cancer, I just knew i needed to be looked at, the fact that she waited so long 🤯 I guess we truly are in our own life paths and will seek help when the time is right. I really want to be critical, suffice it to say, I’m happy that she recovered. The lesson here is don’t be controlled by your emotions, and think rationally about something that could have potentially caused her to be unalived. Lastly, this video is why I’ve watched BPN for many years, fueled many a run with the podcast, but switched off all their channels after the introduction of the Hyrox nonsense! A shocking deviation from the essence of BPN, sad really. When that chapter is over, I’ll tune in again for more content like this, inspiring, educational and engaging minus the BS! Peace ✌️

I understand getting through tough situations. I have ran several marathons, but we have to be careful of abusing our temple. Running over 26.2 miles shouldn't be done more than once a year. Running is about not only strengthening your physical, but the mental as well in a balance mindset. Its about getting to know your body and listening to it. Run for better health, not to damage it beyond repair. It was beautiful to hear your story, and you speak of being a believer of God. Congratulations on all your goals, aspirations, and beating cancer. Wishing you many more great successes. God bless.

Cancer is a derangement of glucose metabolism. HIIT probably helps remission. Look up Warburg Effect. And many of us, myself included, on occasion sit around thinking about how we probably just can't do [fill-in-the-blank], or simply doubting ourselves, and here is Amanda, rockin' it.
