Anyone can have it, functionally it's to protect the eyes. You don't see a lot of lineman or QB's with them tho. And in almost every league, tinted is not allowed. You see a lot of WR's, RB's, DB's, and linebackers with em. If you're just a kicker or punter, might not want to get one haha

The helmet should be pulled wide from the bottom while putting it on to stretch it over the ears. The helmet will flex enough to go over the ears without pulling too much on them.

My son has the Rydell speed flex and the chinstrap continues to slide down on him. We are putting quite a bit of pressure trying to simulate the helmet being pushed down from the front mask to simulate the chinstrap coming down and can’t keep it from happening.

He may want to try a different helmet size or different helmet in general. A different helmet may fit his head shape better. I've seen that helmet when the helmet is too big.

I think you are ok with the XL but the closer the helmet is to your skull the more it will protect you but overall I think you're fine. It depends ok n the strap but if the strap has branding on it, you sjoikd be able to read it right side up when looking at the helmet.

JarHead Master11 Speedflex adjustments work the same way. Do the top first. Bottom is easier since it just slides but the top is important to tighten into the strap-loc

My problem wasn’t even the chin strap I don’t think. I think my jaw just isn’t that long from my face and the chin strap was putting pressure into my neck making it hard for me to breathe. My coach had to go get me one of those crappy no padded chin strap so it wouldn’t choke me
