Iktara is one of the best composed and best sung songs of the last decade. After 2005, Bollywood music went downhill with just noise and useless gimmicks. Iktara is one of the rare songs which deserved all the accolades. Whenever I listen to this song, I get goosebumps no matter how many times I listen to it. Amit Trivedi is a magician and both Amit and Kavita Sethji deserved a national award in my opinion for this.

Btw, the chorus is harmonized right? Like two vocals played together: one octave apart. So are both sung by a male? Because the higher one reaches upto D5 in the G scale, which is a pretty pretty high note. I just wanted to know who sung that part, a male or Kavita seth herself?
