Attacking a pack of b29s would almost be a fools errand. Its basically a swarm of aimbot assisted death. I would not envy a guy doing that one bit. Cool vid.

Shidens were badly organized (three attacking one), b-29 took two Ki-84 Hayate with him, Ki-61 were not precise (B-29s were!), J2M Raidens were combination of Ki-84 & Ki-61 ""successes"... Japan really miss "Experten" to do a decent Defense. As it can be seen, B-29 was a formidable opponent. Looks that Japan couldn't do much with a rookie pilots

Was it common practice to drop bombs while out of control? Did that reduce weight to make the plane fall slower so the crew had time to get out?

not sure why the AI bails so easily in this game, 7:49, doesn't seem to be much wrong with the aircraft for example. IDK how many times I have shot only 1 elevator off of an aircraft and the AI Bails because of it, sure, it might not fly as well (and in some cases, it does make sense to bail), but it can still fly.

Feel free to learn Java and change the bailing out conditions. It's hard to judge who is dead or what is broken in an aircraft from looking at it from the outside from a distance.

Perhaps the system for the control surfaces got destroyed? But ye i agree with you alot of the time they just bail out for the littlest of reasons

Meistens sind das alle KIs. Ich hätte zwar gerne ein paar hundert Menschen, die Bomberbesatzung spielen, aber ich glaube das wird schwierig :D

I had the comments disabled for a long while, because the comments under other B-29 videos were pretty damn stupid.
