ANZAC Washington that crash was not caused by the loop at all. Whilst the loop was a little too close to the ground for comfort, he wouldn’t have crashed had he just continued the path he was on. Instead, when he started to come back up he performed a controlled roll the right and began a horizontal turn. It was not a result of slipping or losing flight. It was just poor judgment of the aircrafts position relative to that tree

Man, this was an excellent video Zetexy. It's one of the most realistic flight Sim's I've seen to date. Love the 109's engine kicking over. The way the cylinders fire on the side is fantastic. I thought of getting this Sim but was not sure if my machine can run it fast enough and smoothly. Great job.

Vive is meh, literally the only thing that the Vive has that the Rift doesn't is room scaling. That's about it, if you like being able to walk around a 10 foot area, then pay $800 for the Vive. Otherwise, save your $200 and get a Rift. Also, the developers of IL-2 BoS will be implementing full VR support before the summer (allegedly). First they have to move the game over to DX10/11 for Rift support and adequate Vive support. Next DLC is Kuban following Battle of Moscow. I've heard a couple rumors of them doing the Pacific theater next. I sure hope that's true...

Well that was unexpected ! I thought at the beginning how the pilot was hot dogging it a bit too much, he also got WAY to close before shooting for my liking, I suppose having an enemy that wasn't shooting back helped. Still, great end to a great mission - two more kills for Grunherz !

I’m a newly sub’d fan your videos are great, I spent many hours on IL2 forgotten battles back when I kept a pc just for games - this makes me long to get another, I wish there was a Mac friendly iteration of the game, it’s by far the most immersive and period accurate combat flight sim I’ve played. I can forgive the fact that an even late model 109 would take much longer to tear apart the IL2 or the Uber smooth and extended glide you got after high speed impact with an obstacle because it’s a combat sim

I used to fly CFS back in 2000-03 and at that time was the most exciting game around. The graphics on this game is way better. How many others flew CFS. Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator. My call sign was WB-MightyMouse.

One thing most Americans don't ever think about is that we have huge oceans on either side of us and have never been in any real danger of an invasion in modern times. On the other hand every country in europe lives with the knowledge that the communists were either on the other side of the border or just a few hours away. In the 80s I was stationed in Germany, it was the cold war, there were maybe 250,000 of us, some Brits and a small west german army less than half a million troops facing some 4,000,000 soviets with about 20,009 tanks, 40,000 artillery pieces and a crap load of helicopters and jets. Our job was to try and hold up the red army for maybe 3 days till more men could be flown in from the us and hopefully the french would mobile. We were not expected to survive. Luckily for us they went bankrupt after 10 years of fighting in afghanistan. But until that moment most people in europe knew there was no way to stop the reds from running over all of europe. If you were a lefty that sounded great to you, if not most figured it was best keep your head buried in the sand and try not to literaly poke the bear and get him to notice you. We americans could afford to be all gung ho since we were not in any great danger but for europe the idea of 4,000,000 red army troops plus millions more of reservists meant you could kiss your country good bye if a war came. Once Churchill and DeGaulle were gone the left took over and tried not to antagonize the reds too much. All the woury about islam has always been minor in comparison. A lot of noise but no real threat to any western countries actual existence. Today right wing politicians in the US try to build up anti chinese fear but they have no reason to attack us, they'd rather buy us out than fight. Left over die hard soviets keep trying to recreate the cold war but if anything Russia is more economically second rate than even the USSR ever was. Not being anti semitic but after the war jews made a huge effort to build up anti fascist hate to help get sympathy for the creation of a jewish state. There was always a large pro left sentiment among jews, one of the reasons Nazis hated them so, this led them to favour the soviets and to overlook any of the atrocities that Stalin committed. Not until the Soviets began to back arab states did this change but by then it was too late. Most europeans cannot believe communists ever did any bad things. So it's perfectly alright to ban a swastika but the left are all wonderful. Ask a lefty anywhere in europe and they still don't believe the Russians slew millions of jews themselves, or deny they killed the polish officers in the katyin forrest for just an example. Well sorry for rambling on so long, just one old vets opinion
