@@Wilson2005WAW Sorry but I don't remember... It worked but I haven't touched the game for maybe a year and half. From what I remember the whole process was tedious and I have tried multiple ways to do it so when I found this vid and it miraculiusly worked... it was probably just a happy accident

@@Wilson2005WAW normally if you can't enable HL that's bcz you don't have any installation of hyperlobby on your pc. But that won't change the game you'll be able to play it normally I've never had any probs

To anyone having problems with the game loading to a certain perecentage and then crashing your game was updated through steam you need to go on steam and run the previous version of the game right click on il2 go to properties and then beta and you should be able to change it back to the other version

Thanks, got it working by doing that. The only issue I have is I cant set my resolution, it crashes if I do that, so im stuck with 1024x768. Do you know of a work around?

Your video is great, but doesn't account for the updates to the JSGME mods. (now available on line 2 was black back then now blue) that weren't available when you first made the video. Works just fine for me, but I updated the mod(s) before launching. Also of note in the IL-2 selector the Adjust IL-2 for Hyperlobby is not available from the base download (so those who try to click the box & you can't there is more work to be done..). I haven't crossed that bridge yet but will in the future..

Go on steam steam updated to game to a newer version take and go to games and right click il2 go to properties and beta and take and set it back to verison 1.42 or what ever it is

I think you have the wrong version of Modact. Make sure it is 5.3 (for v4.12.2m) and make sure you are running 4.12.2m. I had the versions mixed up and encountered what you described. Hope you fixed it by now anyway haha.

Refering to the Modact executable? Default Sturmovik 1946 does not come with any 'IL2 Selector' to my knowledge, only il2fb.exe.

Techcuron I do have il2fb.exe as I when I brought it, it came with all the dlc. I also just realised JSGME nor the other files appear in the il2 folder. I followed the instructions exactly as it said... :/ I already have JSGME used for Rise of Flight, and I browsed to find the other mods (Through JSGME) and it couldn't find any mods either....

Ok never mind I found the problem the default place it extracted to didn't exist so I just browsed and extracted it to the proper file. Sorry for wasting your time it was a simple mistake

TheLengend790 Servers have only certain planes available for their missions files. If works on single player then it should work on multiplayer.

Techcuron when i run the IL-2 selector it says Inufficient file access permissions in your IL-2 game folder! Most probaly you've installed IL-2 in the C:\Program\.Folder on a widows vista or windows 7 system in this case copy your whole IL-2 game folder to a different location e.g C:\IL2\ and lauch your game there. But it is in the right folder! Help pls

Did you not put place the IL-2 folder in the directory it says? It tells you to keep the entire ubisoft/il2 folder out of /Program/. Otherwise try running the program in administrator mode. I stopped using this Modact back in 2014, I use HSFX 7 now.

Make sure >All patches are installed >All Hotfix currently , are installed >Launching through hyperlobby or normal? If you follow exactly what is done here or what is needed to do this then should work. I myself have not used SAS for about a year since this video was uploaded, I used HSFX 7.03 last time I played Sturmovik 1946, I should probably see what has changed.

Try this: First update to 4.12.1m ( www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,38443.0.html ) Than install VP modpack ( www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,50919.0.html ) If you dont know how to patch: ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/nKPEh6Oirrl7a9E ) For VP: ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/gqLbl4GhnbiGnJI ) If you do the megapatch it does all versions automatically when you patch the first one (at least it should)
