A fascinating find - Jack Payne was very popular in France, so not surprising he made issues especially for the French Market - lovely and suitably dramatic in performance too.

What is the matrix nunber, then? Interesting that Payne didn't record this for the British Market under the English title of My Song Goes Round The World.

@@JonathanHolmesjazz Thanks, Jonathan. I saw that number on the label, but just wanted to be sure! F-781 puts it very close to (or part of) Payne's session in Late April 1934 (not December 1933 that you mention). It may even be that the missing number of F-780 is another French title by the band. Maybe you could post the reverse side of this record sometime?
