Of the Jealousy of Trade....is one of my favorite essays. My relative, Istvan Hont wrote a book about it, "Jealousy of Trade: International Competition and the Nation-State in Historical Perspective."

I checked up that book, I did not know you two were related. Very interesting. Thank you for letting me know. Sometimes, we consider the 18th century a far past, but the human nature and the pitfalls of society are almost the same.
