KamabavarithiIlangaiJeyaraj was born in Nalloor and completed his education in traditional gurukulam, graduated from the Yazh Hindu College, in Srilanka. In 1980, at the age of 23, he established AkilaIlangaiKambanKazhagam and in 1995, he initiated the Colombo KambanKazhagam .
Kamabavarithi IlangaiJeyaraj conducts‘KambanVizha’, ‘IsaiVelvi’ and ‘NatakaVelvi’ every year respective to the three divisions of Tamil, ‘Iyal’, ‘Isai’, ‘Natakam’and contributes to the dissemination of the Language.
With his Thirukural discourses and classes on SaivaSiddhantha,‘’Kamabavarithi’’ is a devoted Tamilian who has dedicated his mind, body and soul to this beautifullanguage.
Kambavarithi’ believes that the Tamil language flourishes and enshrines only on the combined efforts of an orator and a listener who enthusiastically appreciates the nuances of Tamil language.
