In his third and last episode of Chat with Chen, Movie Director, Writer, Actor, and Producer Mysskin (en.wikipedia.o...) talks to Shaji Chen about the various criticisms on him and his movies, the controversies surrounding him, his break up with composer Ilayaraja and his plans for the future.
Shaji Chen (en.wikipedia.o...) is a renowned writer, movie actor, music and movie critic. He started his career as a Music Industry A&R Executive and later moved to advertising and then to writing. He has written more than 10 books on movies, music, and memories. He witnessed and chronicled the evolution of Indian popular music and movies in his reviews and writings. In the last few years, he has been acting in Tamil Movies with occasional outings to Telugu and Malayalam movies.

மிஷ்கினின் திரைப்படங்களை விட மிஷ்கினின் பேச்சுகள் எப்போதும் சுவாரசியமானதாகவும் மனதிற்கு மிகவும் பிடித்தமானதாகவும் இருந்திருக்கின்றன. இசை விமர்சகர் ஷாஜி , மிஷ்கினை நேர்காணல் செய்திருக்கும் இந்த முதல் ' Chat with Chen ' காணொளியும் அவ்வாறே அமைந்திருக்கிறது. மிஷ்கின் பேசுவதை எவ்வளவு நேரம் வேண்டுமானாலும் நாம் கேட்கலாம், சலிப்பே இருக்காது. அந்த அளவிற்கு சுவாரசியங்கள் அதில் இடம்பெற்றிருக்கும். அந்த சுவாரசியங்கள் எதுவும் கற்பனையோ, புனைவோ அல்ல, அத்தனையும் உண்மைகள். எந்தவிதமான ஒளிவு மறைவும் இல்லாமல் இருப்பதால் மிஷ்கினின் பேச்சு அவ்வளவு நெருக்கமாக இருக்கிறது. மிஷ்கினிடம் நிறைய கதைகள் இருக்கின்றன. அவர் மட்டும் கதைசொல்லியாக மாறினால் மற்ற கதை சொல்லிகள் காணாமல் போய்விடுவார்கள். மிஷ்கின், தான் என்ன செய்கிறோம், தனது திரைப்படங்கள் எவ்வாறு மக்களிடம் சென்று சேர்ந்திருக்கின்றன என்பதையெல்லாம் தெளிவாக உணர்ந்திருப்பதை இந்த நேர்காணலில் நாம் காணலாம். திரைப்படம் என்பது இயக்குநரின் களம் என்பதை தெளிவாக உணர்ந்திருப்பதுடன் அதற்கு நியாயம் செய்வதற்காக பெரும் ஆளுமைகளுடன் முரண்பட்டதையும் விளக்கியிருக்கிறார். ஆளுமைகளை அவர்களின் திறமைக்காக மதிக்கும் அதே நேரத்தில் குறிப்பிட்ட திரைப்படத்தில் எது தேவை ? எது தேவையில்லை? என்பதை முடிவெடுக்கும் உரிமை இயக்குநருக்கு மட்டுமே உண்டு என்பதையும் தெளிவுபடுத்துகிறார். மிஷ்கின் போன்றவர்களை நேர்காணல் செய்யும் போது அவர்களை அதிகம் பேச விடுவதுதான் சரியாக இருக்கும். அதைத்தான் ஷாஜியும் செய்திருக்கிறார். மொத்தத்தில் நல்ல அனுபவம். குழுவினருக்கு வாழ்த்துகள் 🎉
