Man, I understand Sejudo is trying to give respect to Max for what he has done in the ufc, but you end up coming up with a little biases. When it comes to who needs to make a lot of adjustments for this fight, it will definitely have to be Max. Max has almost all the numbers stuck against him. 1. Topuria is significantly the stronger fighter, so Max has no chance on the ground, but at least volk had a chance. 2. Max has a good chin, but no one punch knockout power, but so does ilia but also with insane amount of power punch. so Max has to adjust to that also. He can't just let the guy close in on him. 3. Max can't fight Ilia the same because Ilia will definitely be testing his ground game. So Max has to unjust to that also. 4. Ilia is quite short compared to Max, so he will definitely need to adjust and work more on his head kicks, body, and leg kicks to keep Ilia at bay. 5. Ilia has very nasty calf kicks, and with Cocky Max stance, he will definitely be in for treats. Conclusion. It doesn't matter how many good guys Max has fought 👏 good for him, but so was Volk, and guess what, Topuria made it look easy. MAX gotta go to work for this fight because clearly, he will be going against someone who is overwhelmingly better than him in almost all categories.

I know Ilia is the belt also, but the guy is relatively young and new in the game, so he can always get it back after 1 or 2 fights.
