@@ilqrd.6608 Those would be rad. If we had the rights to any of those, we would definitley push Reiner to make 2p versions (he would only reserve them for the current publisher of those titles). Although to be honest Iliad has a very 2p Samurai vibe.

At 8:20, would it be possible to relocate the red 1 in the center so that the blue 1 tile would not fulfill the adjacency requirement any more?

Yes you can relocate that 1 tile and create 2 separate groups of tiles.

Not really a reworking - actually a new design. But there are a few shared similarities. The similarities/differences are explained best in the BoardGameGeek FAQ post on the Iliad game page.

Yes they are :) We sized them so there is plenty of space to fit your hand in and mix tiles around.
