That's the blood supply that goes back to the heart. When I played tennis in the brutal heat thankfully there was a water fountain nearby and someone taught me that trick. It helped.

The ninja looks like he may have studied some of Bruce Lee's style because his quick punches are a concept Lee came up with called the 1 inch punch where he could knock someone back with a quick from an inch by focusing his chi or inner strength.
