Usually how it goes for 3D Fighters, first couple of characters always get Basic Super but then Devs get crazy with the rest of the cast after they learn what they can do with the engine. It why Ryu will always have a Super Fireball no matter what and why he has changes the least over the years in SF

@@Doublejhobasically, some setups require specific timing which can be difficult to do on the spot 100% of the time So in order to be consistent, some setups use stuff like whiffing punches so that the timing of the player’s next move will align perfectly with the setup So like instead of manually waiting like 1 second, you can instead do a move that takes 1 second, then immediately do your next move That way you don’t have to think about timing for 1 second In the example you see timestamped (5:20), Illaoi “randomly” throws out two punches which seem to do nothing, but this is merely the player timing their setup These do-nothing attacks are called frame kills

I never actually played League, only the RPG spin-off, the Ruined King, but Illaoi was one of my main party members in that game. Seeing her translated to a fighting game is prety cool! The game is probably too demanding to run well on PS4. Plus it might not release for another year or two, at which point the PS5 will be 5-6 years old and the PS6 probably won't be too long after. There's not really a point in holding the game back to run on hardware that's nearly two generations behind what will be current-gen shortly after the game releases.
